Fall of 2015, I began my career as a collegiate athlete. And I LOVE IT!! I attend Hesston College, a nationally top ten junior college and compete as a softball player for the Hesston Larks. I am very proud of my accomplishments, as I not only succeeded on the field but in the classroom as well. While taking 17 credit hours each semester, including Calculus and Chemistry, I also played both fall ball and regular season softball as a second baseman/outfielder. All while earning a spot on the Dean’s list with a 4.0 GPA.
I am now looking for a new home for the 2017/2018 educational year and beyond to compete on the field and in the academic arena towards the completion of my degree. I would like to achieve a Bachelor’s, possibly Master’s, degree in my field of study while representing my school in softball. This past year has flown by and was full of firsts but with good study habits and some good time management, I was able to achieve all of my goals and more. I expect that this next year will offer new challenges but I am ready to face them and meet my newest set of objectives.
I am a driven, highly competitive individual who would love to play ball for you at the next level. I have pushed myself and will continue to do so in pursuit of my dreams. I work hard in training so that I can stay healthy and play at my peak. I remain an athlete who plays hard and leaves it all out on the field every time. I don’t have an ego but I know what I am capable of. I know my sports, inside and out. I work hard for what I have attained and I work harder for my coaches. I also like to have fun! Sports should be fun! I love to smile and laugh and have a good time at what I am doing.
If I play for you, I will give you everything I've got including hard work and joy. I will listen, learn and go out ready to compete. Ultimately, I want to achieve a degree in my field of choice, Biomedical Engineering. If I can get there by being a student athlete, by playing a sport I enjoy and excel at for what will be my future alma mater; ultimately that would be the perfect scenario. And believe this, I live up to the hype! Pick me, you won’t regret it.
