Alexa Rayborn '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals include pursuing the sport of fastpitch softball so that I can continue to play the game with a high level of passion.  I began my softball career in the state of Alabama and moved to Wisconsin five years ago.  I immediately began my search for a competitive softball organization so that I could continue to pursue my dream of playing college softball.  I smile every Spring when I smell the fresh cut softball field grass and see the dirt rise from the field in a gust of wind.  I left the field after a recent game with a bloody shoulder and arm, blood on my jersey and I was covered in dirt.  That typifies the way I play.  I want to play with girls who share that passion.  I am a good candidate for your team because I am a good team mate, a vocal leader and a winner.  I study hard to achieve a high academic standard, not only because I know that it is important for me to achieve my athletic goals but because it is important for my future after college.  I am trustworthy and and try to always live up to the high moral standard which my parents expect of me.
