Since my Freshman year, I have grown tremendously as a scholar-athlete. I came into high school standing at 5' 2", weighing 105 lbs. I now stand at 5' 6", weighing 125 lbs. I have become bigger, faster, and stronger and continue to grow and mature both in the classroom and on the softball field. In the past three years, I have found success in cross country, softball, and basketball. However, softball has been the most enjoyable to me and has brought me substantial success, as well. It is a dream of mine to play softball in college! I am open any school that offers a bachelor's degree in business and marketing and I am ready to work hard to afford that college. I prefer to go to a small rural college that still offers job opportunities and high level competition. However, I can't afford to be too picky. Since I am the oldest in a family of 8, it is difficult for my parents to financially support my college education; therefore, I plan on paying for college on my own. Having said this, I am looking for a business school with a competative softball team that is willing to offer me financial assistance in return for being a part of their athletic program. I know that, no matter what team I play for, hard work and loyalty will be key factors in my devotion to the team. The fact that I have won the "hustle award" and "coach's award" for the past three years on my high school team is a testament to my hard work ethic. I am ready to work with any coach in order to ensure a good education and success in both the classroom and on the field.
