Personal Statement

Coming from a small town where most high school graduates go to a college close to home or go straight into the workforce has been the main factor that gives me the drive to accomplish more.  I want to be able to walk into a room and not have to introduce myself.  Through high-level schooling, I can work to accomplish my forever dream of becoming a Criminologist.  Schooling is by far one of the most important aspects of my life as well as sports.  At a young age, I fell in love with not only softball but both volleyball and basketball too.  Being a student-athlete for over eight years has formed me into the young woman I am today and has made me beyond responsible and adaptable both in the classroom and on the playing field.  I believe that my skills qualify for this level.

By being a team player, built-in cheerleader, hardworking, coachable, and enthusiastic student-athlete, I have many positive features to add to a team to create a family.  Most importantly, I carry out respect on and off the field. Being conscious that the way I reflect and carry myself displays not only myself, but my team, my coaches, parents, and the school I attend.  I would not only like to contribute to your team for the next four years, but for as long as I can continue to make a difference.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
