Personal Statement

If you were to ask any of my friends one word to describe me, they would say dedicated. I work very hard every day to be the best player, and person, I can be. I am an active member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and I am the President of the Howards Grove Future Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) chapter. Along with playing softball, basketball, and tennis, I have maintained a 3.95 GPA. I have very good time management keeping all my clubs, sports, school, and life under control.

In my free time I spend time volunteering as a coach to the Howards Grove Middle School basketball, and softball teams. I love teaching the game to the next generation. I am also an active member of my Roman Catholic Church, where my grandmother and I attend weekly. It is very important to me to have a strong connection with God. As for the future I strive to become a nurse, I love helping people. I also love seeing people smile, you never know what someone is going through and smiling at them can help to make their day.

I am very blessed to live in a beautiful home with my mother and father, my grandmother occasionally stays with us as well. She is the strongest person I know, not only has she stayed strong with her husband of 62 years passing last summer, but she has also beat breast cancer, and a heart murmur. I want to be just like her. I want to go to college to eventually take care of her one day as a nurse.

I also want to go to college to prove everyone from my small town who said I would never go anywhere in softball wrong. I have been so blessed to find softball, I threw a perfect game against Ozaukee last season (2021), and went on to receive 2nd team All-Conference, as well as top 5 statewide for assists. Although because Covid-19 I did not get a freshman year, and an insane number of lost touches. Luckily, we still got to continue summer ball for Impact Sports Academy out of Green Bay, WI.

My coaches here would describe me as flexible, and positive. Whenever a team is down a player for the weekend (as long as I don’t have a tournament that weekend) I gladly help out by giving me an opportunity to meet new people. One thing you should know about me is that on tournament weekends it is my goal to lose my voice by Championship Sunday, I love cheering on my team, screaming cheers to have fun!

All in all, I live a very blessed life that I love dearly. I am a hardworking, positive leader that would be a great aspect to have on your team. I appreciate you reading this and hope to hear from you all!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
