Madison Moore '19 Recruiting Profile

If you are looking for speed, I am your girl- my 20 yd sprint time is 2.6! My name is Madison Moore and I am a Senior at Edgewood High School in Madison, Wisconsin. Edgewood High School is all about challenging their students to reach their potential and preparing them for college and the road ahead. Being a two sport athlete (Basketball and Softball), I have learned all about managing my time between sports and my education, and giving 100% in everything I do. I have maintained a 4.11 GPA and scored 34/36 on the ACT . I have achieved high honor roll every year throughout high school and recently was inducted into the EHS Honor Society.  In addition, I have received the Urban League of Madison Martin Luther King Jr. Outstanding Young Person Award and the Academic Excellence Award for my academic achievements.  I played Varsity softball every year in high school and I was a Varsity call up for basketball my freshman and sophomore years, and was a starter my Junior year. 

It had always been a dream of mine to play softball at a high level while pursuing a quality education. Having started Varsity every year for my high school softball team I have learned to be a leader, take responsibility, lead by example, and always give it my all each and every play.  I've played club softball for five years.  My starting position is Center Field, and being an outfielder, I understand the importance of communication, determination, and hard work.  I am always working on my game outside of practice to improve my skills and grow as a player. Whether it be staying after practice, going to the field or batting cages with my coach, or working out in my backyard, I use my spare time to become a better player any chance I get. I have a lot of passion, heart, and respect for the game.  My athleticism and quickness make me a versatile player in the outfield and I believe I would be a great addition to your team.
