Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

My name is Taylor Earing, and I would love the opportunity to attend a school that would allow me to obtain a great education but at the same time, allow me to continue to play the game I love, softball. I am looking for a smaller school that allows for individual attention and interactions among the professors and the students. I have been a competitor all my life and know what it takes to succeed. At the same time, I come from a big family and know that every member of a team is important and should be treated as such. I also have come to realize that not everyone gets the same opportunities in life, so when you get a chance to do something, you need to work hard and make the most of it. I have been very fortunate to have a great family, to be given athletic ability, and luckily some smarts. I want to make the most of this and given this opportunity I am determined to succeed and be the best student-athlete I can be.

Taylor Earing

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
