Ivy League Admissions

The grass is turning green, we cheer for opening day and socks become an optional piece of attire. It is spring and most high school seniors have finalized their college commitments. Some students have been accepted through rolling admissions, others have made verbal commitments to college coaches and highly recruited athletes have signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI). Impact Athlete of the Month
Kalyn Johnson
Sequoyah HS
Canton, GA
2008 Grad, Kalyn Johnson, is a 5’4” women’s golfer from Canton, Georgia. Johnson maintained mental determination and extreme focus on the course; which is why she has a handicap of eight and has made her verbal commitment to attend Anderson University this fall.
During the 2007 season, Johnson finished 12th at State, 2nd at Regionals and 1st in County. She was also named Female Golf Athlete of the Year, as well as being recognized as a top prospect for her high school basketball team.
Johnson is on her way to having an established collegiate career. The Ravens should be looking forward to their new teammate.
