At first glance you can tell that Spencer Chase is a competitor. Academically and athletically he excels beyond expectations. The junior track star from Phoenix, AZ had another great season this year at Desert Vista High School.
Spencer made strides in every event. His fastest 100M time was 10.87 FAT which earned him a 6th place state finish. He ran a personal best of 47.45 FAT in the 400M which took home 2nd in the event at state. Spencer’s 4x4 team broke the Arizona State record and earned him the state title as well. He also placed 3rd in the 200M (21.57 FAT).
Off the track Spencer takes tough courses in high school to prep him for a future business degree. He has a 3.97/4.0 weighted GPA and an astounding 1370 on his two part SAT. Spencer is hoping his academic & athletic resume will earn him a scholarship at a top notch school.
