A Day at the Beach?
While watching the Olympics this week you see athletes in all sports having the experience of a life time. But what you’re not thinking about is how hard these athletes have to work. Not only do these athletes follow a very difficult and strenuous training regimen but some of them have full time jobs. A lot Read More >>
How Coaches Evaluate Character
Character matters in recruiting. When I ask a coach in any sport what they look for in a recruit the words high character always come up in their top three. I was a different story. I was turned on to volleyball in eighth grade and had no idea the club circuit even existed. By the time I found out, I was already a sophomore in high school. I picked the game up quick, but still needed a lot of work going into college. Read More >>
