What Is The Virtual Tryout?
NCSA and Game Plan Branding Group developed the Virtual Tryout as a means to help college coaches quickly and efficiently evaluate the talent of prospective student-athletes. Due to the overwhelming success rate and response by families and college coaches, NCSA has integrated the Virtual Tryout into our National Program and believes the Virtual Tryout can benefit NCSA student-athletes.
Our NCSA Recruiting Coaches have expertise in college recruiting and they communicate with college coaches daily in order to remain up to date about exactly what coaches are looking for when they receive video of student-athletes. Your Recruiting Coach will take your highlight video and decide which clips will be most effective in displaying your skills to college coaches based on what the coaches are looking for. After editing is complete, the video is compressed into a 3-5 minute highlight film which is hosted on the NCSA site.
NCSA's Recruiting Coaches use permission based email to distribute the Virtual Tryout to college coaches at the schools the student-athlete qualifies for. This allows college coaches to evaluate the student-athlete who qualifies for their program from the convenience of their desk!
