Personal Statement
My sophomore year I made a big decision and moved to Florala High School. That year we struggled a lot. We had many ups and downs and finished the season with only 5 wins. It was hard to see my team so down and ready to give up. I promised myself that I would work hard to become a better player for myself and for my team. I encouraged my teammates to put in work with me and come my junior year we found ourselves in the playoffs with a 20-5 record. We didn’t win a state championship but it taught me a lot about how to be a leader and what being apart of a real team was like and I knew that when I graduated I didn’t want to give that up. I’ve always wanted to play at the next level but now I actually have the confidence and knowledge to go after my dream! My parents have helped me every step of the way, all of this wouldn’t be possible without them. Knowing that they have so much confidence in me makes me push harder everyday to achieve my goals!
