Chris(Tianna) Pinkney '16 Recruiting Profile

Since the age of 4, I have been playing sports. It was not until 6th grade that I became more fixated on basketball and joined AAU. Basketball is definitely a sport that I greatly enjoy while learning many helpful lessons that guides me beyond the court. My long term goal is to pursue a career in the field of sports medicine. Thus, my short term is to obtain a collegiate education, and I believe basketball is a component that can help me reach my goals.

On the court, I use my handles when needed, good anticipation skills, and continuously search for a driving opportunity. I strive to characterize myself with a behavior portraying leadership, responsibility, and respect to all participants on the court. I believe teamwork is an important factor required for a successful unit and season. Because every coach that I played for was uniquely different, I am certainly a coachable player and has worked hard to meet each and everyone of their expectations.

Off the court, I spend my time doing school work, assisting my school trainer as her athletic training aide, school clubs, and since the 6th grade, being involved in my church community. I like to challenge myself by taking honors classes.

My options for colleges are open as long as it provides the education that I need to become a certified sports trainer, and eventually work at the collegiate or professional level. I am very committed to my goals and willing to dedicate my time to find the right college that can make my dream career come true.
