Personal Statement
As a basketball player I set many goals for myself. I look at my "goals" like a never ending box. Once I succeed in one goal I put it into my box and I still work on it but I'm simultaneously working on another goal. Goals are supposed to be achieved and not to be put on a shelf to collect dust. My goals are polished everyday on the court. What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I'm loyal, coachable, and I am always looking forward to practice to work not only on my game but my teammate's game. Also I love a team that is like sisters. A team that high fives each other is a team that wins and I will bring an attitude that everyone will like and appreciate. What makes me different from other recruits is that I live and breathe basketball. You must hear that a lot, but it's true. I believe basketball is something that I was meant to do and succeed in. I will bring a strong personality and I have a great basketball IQ. I will listen and not argue with anyone on my team because that just bring friction and no team needs that. I will be honest though, I know I don't have the best of grades, but I do try hard. My goals in the academic stand point are the same as on the court. Always set goals and succeed in them in the classroom and then on the court.
