I Anyssia Gibbs am an unselfish, forward thinking Team Leader. I value each member’s contribution while listening to what each teammate has to say. I demonstrate by my actions, and I respects the entire team. I am the teams’ organizer; I continuously remind my teammates of their respective roles, and how to function on and off the court. I promote a family and harmonious atmosphere for the Lady Cougars Basketball Team. I enforce positive thinking; my optimistic behavior brings positive motivation to my teammates. I believe that I give my team hope to go on playing their game, no matter how the situation appears. I demonstrate impeccable defense to stop opponents, and serve as a role model to my teammates; inspiring them to give 100% all the time. I mentor my teammates aside from being the most talented player; as the Captain, I never let negativity disrupt the focus of the team. I have maintain a 3.5 GPA, and I am an impeccable student athlete; and I believe I am an undeniable pleasure to Coach.
