I am going into my senior year of high school basketball I have played 2 years JV, 2 years Varsity. My freshmen year I played in Japan I was a starter and captain on the JV team. We went undefeated that year and were Kanto League Champs. During the middle of that season I was chosen to play on the Varsity team also. At the end of that season we went to the Far East Tournament (similar to a Regional tournament). While I was there I earned my first Varsity letter in basketball.
My collegiate goal is to get a degree in secondary education and possibly minor in sports medicine. I am a good candidate for your basketball program because I am always willing to learn the game and I am very coachable. I know I am getting a late start being a senior but I am ready for the challenge and willing to do whatever it takes to benefit my education and love of basketball. What I have learned these past four years playing basketball is teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication is what it takes to succeed is whatever we do.
