Personal Statement

Basketball is part of my identity. Basketball has played an important role in my life since I was in the first grade. I loved being a part of a team and playing with my friends. Over the years, I have grown to truly love and respect the game. It has been a dream of mine to be able to play basketball in college for a long time.

As a student-athlete, I have come to truly appreciate the time and dedication it takes to balance both athletics and academics. I strive every day to be the best person I can be, both on the court and in the classroom. I am looking for a program that is a good fit both athletically and academically. To be able to obtain a quality education and represent my school on the basketball court would be such an incredible honor.

I would describe myself as a true point guard, who understands the game. I possess a high basketball I.Q., with good court vision and game awareness. I am team-oriented and very coachable. I believe I have the ability, character and work ethic to make an impact on the school that is the right fit for me and achieving my goals.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
