Personal Statement

I have always had the intention of playing collegiate basketball since I started playing in middle school. I made the switch from soccer to basketball and I can say it was the best choice I've ever made for myself.  School can be tough at times due to AP and IB courses,  but I've always looked forward to practice at the end of the day.  No feeling can quite compare to the one I get through competing on the court.  Basketball has taught me skills that go beyond surface level- and I am grateful for that.  Yet, at the end of the day, basketball gives me an outlet to perform to my best ability, compete against others, and become a better player/person than the day before.
