My name is Brooke Trujillo, and I am a junior at Alamosa High School. I am currently part of the Alamosa Girls Varsity Basketball team. I am 5'3" and 115 pounds.
I would love to be taller, but I am dedicated to building my body strength. I have played basketball for ten years, but right now I am a point guard as well as a shooting guard.
My freshmen season, I was put on Varsity, but did not start until half of the season. My sophomore and junior season I am a starting varsity player. I have received 'Outstanding Freshmen Athlete of the Year" and "Honorable Mention All Conference", academically I have made honor roll every semester, grades are important to me as well as basketball.
Basketball is my life just as school is also an important aspect to accomplishing goals. I have received many academic awards throughout my high school years such as "Minds in Motion" and I have made "Honor roll" all semesters.
There are several goals and aspirations that I would like to achieve. It has always been my dream to take my basketball career as far as I could go. The idea of playing college basketball has always been a dream of mine and I clearly understand that with this goal comes a level of intensity, hard work, and sacrifice. In my lifetime. I have various role models that I lookup to and every single one has let me in and told me what it takes to become successful. When I set my eyes on the prize, the prize will be mine and I wont stop working until I get it.
"Every game I play, I give it 110% and play like it's my last."
