I currently attend Denver South High School and will be part of class 2014. I have many goals in life some that are bigger than others such as becoming a meteorologist. I have always had a love for tornadoes and can't wait until I am able to become a storm chaser. However, my love for basketball is much stronger. I would love to be apart of a successful college team, and perhaps play over seas or in the WNBA. I understand that grades come before anything, and have numerous areas of study that I'm interested in, as well as making sure that the school is comfortable without sports should something happen. I love being the odd one in the group and with the help of being in ROTC I have learned Integrity, Honor, and managing tough situations. When I become successful I want to give back to all the organizations that support children who are less fortunate. I understand it's very important to have a back up plan and not only have sports to get by. I want to be among the successful people in my family who have traveled, and molded into who they themselves wanted to be, and not forced to be somebody they are not happy with because of the environment around them. With the help of my family and coaches my biggest goal is to set and break records at South by the end of my senior year and go out with a bang. If I want this to happen I understand I need to work hard, nothing will be given to me, I would love to be a to come back to my high school and middle school after I graduate and talk to the students about what it takes, what they can do,and needing to have the will to want to be successful. I know that nothing will come easy because there is always somebody who's working just as hard, if not harder than you so I'm really hard on myself to go 100%. However, I sometimes forget that i need to have fun and enjoy and let things flow naturally, because when I allow all those things to happen....that's when I have some of my best games.
