Jasmine Monroe-Shivers '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jasmine Monroe-Shivers. I've been playing basketball since 1st grade.  I realized in the 5th grade how good I was becoming.  Basketball is my passion and is what I want to do.   I've never stopped playing, making me an open ear to the game and inspiring me to want to play college basketball.  I've been to many showcases in Chicago, Dallas, and events in Carolina, showing that I have what it takes to be a D-1 player.  My hard work has paid off , but I am still striving to be even better than my last game. With my heart for the game and the knowledge I have for the game, I will be the basketball player I know I can be.  I am currently in the 12th grade and every team I've played on, I would try to make my team better.  I like to get the team involved.  I am an honor student while taking courses for college credit at this time.  I do well in school and I get along well with others.  I love the game and am eager to learn as much as I need, to succeed.
