Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since the age of 8. I enjoy playing sports year round. I like to play a variety of sports to stay physically fit. My goal is to attend a college where I can grow and develop into a well-rounded individual in the classroom and an exceptional team player in life. I aspire to play basketball at a university with a regionally or nationally competitive basketball program and quality academic undergraduate program.
I believe my hustle, agility, speed, ball handling, court vision, jumping ability, shot blocking ability, length, natural competitiveness, willingness to listen and learn, willingness to play multiple positions, love for sharing the ball and love for defense makes me a good candidate for most teams. My caring attitude about other people, respect for diversity and culture, love of animals and nature, athletic versatility (field hockey, basketball, soccer and track in Middle and High School) and desire to do the best with my academic studies makes me a good recruit.
