Personal Statement
My name is Renisha Francois aged 16. Currently, I am a sophomore at Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I believe in mental fitness as well as physical fitness. For this reason, I have strongly integrated my passion for sports and want to major in Sports Medicine. Since childhood, I had the passion for the basketball and at an age of eleven years I started for William Dandy Middle School in 6th - 8th grades and participated in Middle School Championship my 7th grade year. I’m a fast learner, dedicated to perfection in all that I engage in. My intellectual capability, as well as physical capacity, has enabled to advance in education and basketball.
I am 5 feet 6 inches which facilitates me playing in the guard position. Again I am speedy with a keen eye for details with high intelligence to predict opponents' moves. I believe in teamwork and can build a positive relationship with people at all levels. I have played in AAU and Travel Ball in the sixth and the seventh grade with Lady Rams in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. In my 8th & 9th grade year I participated with the Miami Suns were also I was privileged to be captain of both teams.
I Am intellectual and dedicated person able to balance between education and sport with ease. Currently, I am honor student with GPA of 4.0429. It is my utmost goal is to work with professional trainers to improve game and competition for athletes at all levels. By attending a college for Sports Medicine program, I will achieve my goal and be a valuable asset in the medical field.
