Dimonique Wilburn '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Dimonique Wilburn. I am 5'7 140 pounds and i play the guard position. The best parts of my game are passing and driving to the basket because I am quick and unselfish. I like driving because its sucks in the defense and collapses it which creates open shots for my teammates. Although I love to drive and assist I have very good shooting form and can knock down the shot. Off the court I am a diligent student and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am in the 11th grade and take 3 honors courses and 3 Duel enrollment college coaches. I participate in speech meet and other scholastic activities such as NHS. I take basketball and school very seriously because I know those two work hand in hand. In college I plan to study pharmacy or anesthesiology because I enjoy the medical field and like to help people. I would like to attend college on a full ride scholarship academic or athletic. I believe hard work pays off in the end so that's my saying. Hard work+ Dedication=success!! When I am on the court I believe in giving 100% 32 minutes the whole game, whether my team is up by 20 down by 30 or winning by 1. As a player I believe to always give your all so that is what I do.
