Personal Statement

I am the best candidate for all colleges because I show potential on and off the court. The qualities that I possess will greatly contribute to your college and I won’t easily be forgotten. I am unique in many ways but most of all I'm studious and athletic.

Many people are lazy when it comes to school because they think it’s too much work but me I am very serious about it. I never give half the effort in anything I do because it won’t make me any better or get me anywhere. I care a lot about education and academics and I try very hard to get excellent grades. Many nights I stay up past midnight to finish my homework and then the next day I wake up at 3:50 in the morning to go run for Cross Country. I also manage to stay studious during all my sports seasons even if I get home at 11:00 some nights and haven't been home since I left for school. You can see through my years that I’ve managed to get good grades even with the extra curricular activities I do including NHS.

Most important is that I'm very athletic and I can contribute greatly to the athletic program. I think I would be a great asset to the basketball team because I am a hard worker and will give everything I have each and every practice and game. I have received numerous awards for basketball and other sports showing that I'm versatile.

My hundred percent effort promises you that I will take my studies seriously.  Also,my athletics will have an impact on the school and team I play for. You wouldn't be making a mistake choosing me to attend your college.
