Reilly Boehm '18 Recruiting Profile

Basketball is a simple game, but it brings me so much happiness. From my earliest memory I have of holding a basketball, I remember the joy it brought me and that joy has only grown through hard-work and dedication. I work everyday to make myself a better player so wherever I am, I can perform to the best of my ability and do whatever the team needs me to do. My favorite aspect of the game is everyone working together to achieve a larger goal, bigger than any individual. My dad always tells me, "It's not about the name on the back of the jersey, it's about the name on the front." 

Since I was little, my goal has been to play at a collegiate level. I've worked hard to get me where I am today, and I try to never be complacent. I always make sure I work as hard with my academics as I do in the gym. I try to have a balance between school and basketball so they both stay at a high level. I can guarantee that I will work as hard as I possibly can, with no excuses because every opportunity is important and it might never show itself again.
