  • As the spring and summer begin, many young ladies are preparing to participate in Tournaments and to showcase skills to college coaches. The Southeastern Lady Blazers make a conservative effort to ensure that all participants "finish strong" in their high school classrooms. More importantly the Lady Blazers Program is educate participants and their parents on what is necessary to be a successful student-athlete. Research reveals many players spend countless hours on drills and preparation to win games however, very little time is spent on the rigors of conditioning and IQ of the sport to include personal and family requirements to succeed. The success of the Lady Blazers Staff over the years has been attributed to the support and interests in scholarly and community endevors, encouraging healthy socializaton patterns, and acknowledgement of the values of good nutrition. Our season begins during the spring, slowly but persistently,to get the paeticipants adjusted to a demanding implementation process. This process has proven to be productive because it allows the program to address the student athlete holistically. Parents are encouraged to be inclusive in the evaluation process to pinpoint risk factors that can hinder participants from achieving optimum sucess. The staff of The Southeastern Lady Blazers takes great pride in the number of young ladies that have excelled in the classroom, in high school and during college careers. Scholastic achievement and citizenship is strongly emphasized and monitored year round. The Lady Blazer staff has experience at various levels to include:: NBA, AAU, YBOA, USA BASKETBALL, MIDNIGHT BASKETBALL, NBA PRO-AM LEAGUE, EUROPEAN WOMEN AND MENS PROFESSIONAL LEAGUES,JR, GEORGIA BLAZERS, AND -1 STREET BALL.INDUSTRIAL LEAGUES, NUMEROUS COLLEGE,HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR HIGH AND RECREATION CAMPS.
