Personal Statement

Basketball, to me, is a lifestyle. I know people say that a lot, but that best describes what it has been to me. I play year round, travel everywhere, play some of the best teams and players in the nation, and put time into getting better at the sport I want to be successful in. I can't say I'm completely different from most of these players on this website, because we all joined NCSA for a reason. We are trying to do something we love, as long as we can, and get the best education for our future as well.

When I look around in the gym and everyone else has gone home I do feel that I have something that sets me above most players though, I work hard to get better everyday and my only opponent is myself.  I don't just want it, like everyone on NCSA, but I am working for it.  A lifestyle is a commitment, it's time consuming, dedication, hard work, revolves around goals and is something you can't live without. Anyone can play the game but I love my lifestyle.
