Jazmin Smith '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jazmin Smith, I'm a senior point guard at Collins Hill High School (7AAAAAA). I'm left handed and not the tallest person but I can assure you, I work hard! My leadership is impeccable. My dedication is un-questionable. My character is one of a kind & indescribable. My energy is irreplaceable. I will say, my leadership is something not many have. Not only do I want to make myself better, but I also want to push others around me to become better too. I want to make an impact on the people around me! I'm very coachable and I'm always looking to grow as a player & learn from my mistakes. I mean, doesn't that make you a better player after all? My goal is not only to attend college and play basketball but I'm also focused on becoming the best young woman I can be after college. Growing as a person and becoming successful is something vitality important to me. My coaches and teammates will be very important in helping mold who I become, this decision can't be taken lightly. You can look at videos or read my articles in the paper, or even read this and think I'm just the average player who wants a scholarship to play basketball...but I can assure you, this is not the case. I believe talking to my coaches, getting to know me personally and coming to watch my games is what it takes to see the type of person and player I really am. I'm open to all divisions of basketball...I'm just trying to find the right place for me to continue my basketball career and pursue my future. I'm blessed and appreciate all the visits, offers along with the feedback both positive and things to work on and I'm very excited to make a decision in the next few months. I hope to see you soon!
