My goal is to get an athletic scholarship to college and major in Kinesiology. What makes me a good candidate for any coach's team is the heart and hard work I give on the court in practice, in the game, and after the game. Yes, I hustle hard and I attack the basket even harder but that doesn't make me stand out -- my commitment and the many sacrifices I give into this sport makes me stand out and I believe that's more important than anything. My discipline in gleaning from the Coach and going above and beyond what he/she may ask feeds into the phenomenal team player that I've become. Having qualities about yourself that extend beyond the court is really what makes one stand out more than other female basketball players -- that person is me!
If I don't go all the way to the professional league then I would focus on putting my major to use and becoming a physical trainer or therapist because I would like to help people in need.
I'm a go-getter that doesn't settle for mediocrity. I'm willing to do what needs to be done to get to where I need to be. I have to keep reaching higher and higher until I reach my goal at the top shelf and i'm willing to conquer all obstacles to get there. My goals and ambitions are on the top shelf and I refuse to rest my feet until I get there.
"Reaching high will keep the player on her feet"
