Personal Statement

I will be pursuing a degree in orthodontics; to do this I will need to get a bachelor's degree before I apply to a Dental School. I have a very high GPA and strive to succeed in the classroom, as well as on the court. I would love the opportunity to play basketball during College. I am a well-rounded player that has been a three-sport athlete all through high school, which includes: volleyball, cross country, basketball, and track & field. I have had great success in all of them, however, basketball is by far my favorite sport. I am very passionate about the game and have spent many hours working with Don Kelbick to solidify my footwork, improve my ball-handling skills, and become a well-rounded player who understands the game. I plan to continue my progress with him through high school. I am an extremely coachable athlete and enjoy succeeding as a team. I love to learn, improve, and contribute all I can to both my team and my school's basketball program. I would love the opportunity to continue to play beyond high school as a collegiate athlete and hope I am someone you feel will contribute to your program.
