Emma Heisler '15 Recruiting Profile

9/4/14 Update:  I have determined that my college major will be Nursing.  I desire to attend a college that can help me obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 4 years at one Institution.  

6/22/14 Update: My Morton High School basketball team competed at Purdue University high school camp.  I was honored to be named to the All Star Team by the Purdue coaching staff.

In High School, I am a three (3) sport athlete (basketball, tennis, soccer).  Basketball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.  I love all aspects of the game. Most rewarding is the strategy of the game.  Team work, unselfishness, and court vision are big parts of my game. Leadership is a quality that all my coaches from High School and AAU tell me I have which is important, while playing Point and Shooting Guard.   As a sophomore, our team won 4th Place at State.   As Junior, I won 2nd Place in 3 Point shooting at State.  Giving 100% effort on and off the court is what I strive for every day.  I am a well-rounded person.   I am active in church, volunteer and enjoy the classroom.  I wish to go into the medical field.   A combination of hard work, persistence, commitment, and leadership abilities shall make me successful in whatever I set my mind to.
