Personal Statement
My freshman year I had the privilege of being pulled up to play on the sophomore/JV team. There I learned how to better connect to players who are older than I am and how to lead respectfully as a younger player. My sophomore year was the year I came back from a back injury that kept me out during the summer. That year we grew close as a team and had an extremely successful year. We were a force to be reckoned with. I was determined to grow further and have more success. The summer between my sophomore and junior years was the time I gained more confidence and made the varsity team.
I am determined to continue to grow and overcome adversity as it comes. I have a desire to play at the next level. I am an active learner who wants to do her best at everything she tries to do. Finding joy in the process of learning and improving comes naturally for me. Wherever I go and whatever I do, bringing glory to Jesus is my ultimate desire.
