I am a leader. On the basketball courts, in the classroom and outside in the real world. I understand that things don't come easy and even if you have a little success, you have to continue and prepare with hard work for the next level. I want to succeed in basketball because it feels like I'm high on life after I play. I want to succeed in the classroom so I have every option when I decide what my career goals will be. I have a strong faith that keeps me grounded and gives me the desire to want to help others.
As a freshman and sophmore, I started on JV and played 2-4 minutes a quarter in the varsity game. I continued to practice and train outside of practice all year so my skills could improve and I could add different dimensions to my game and to help my team. As my junior year begins, I'm looking forward to being an integral part of our team's success! I think what makes me unique is my desire for the team to succeed over my own personal stat sheet.
