I play the game of basketball because it is a way for me to do what I love, playing with people that make me better. My coaches are my mentors, my teammates are my friends, and my opponents are the people that continue my love for the game pushing me harder every day. I leave it all on the floor when I play because outside of those four lines, nothing is to be taken personally. Education is a vital part of my upbringing and it carries over on the court. When I play, I've been described as having a high basketball IQ, being a fierce competitor, as well as, a very selfless player. I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help the team succeed. Basketball is definitely a passion of mine, but with having three siblings, I also see it as a potential opportunity to do my part in helping pay for my college education. Being a straight A student shows my dedication to education and my success on the court shows my dedication to basketball. Why do I like to play? For the rush. For the friendship. For the game.
