Personal Statement

Hello my name is Hannah Noveroske. I just completed my sophomore year of basketball and volleyball and I am maintaining a 3.976 cumulative GPA at Michigan City High School. I enjoy  high school and learning all I can in every class I take. I enjoy all of my teachers and especially get to know the ones that really challenge my abilities and grade. I am currently taking as many A.P. classes and honors classes as I can to prepare me for college where I would like to study Athletic sports medicine, or another health career. I enjoy helping people and comforting those people who are suffering or sick. I want to volunteer this summer in the health community in some supporting role.

Playing sports and especially basketball, is an outside activity,  that makes me want to achieve my best and get better every game. My mother and father like to come and watch me play to root me on as well as our team. Travel basketball also keeps my family all close and traveling together. I played both travel basketball and travel volleyball over the years, but right now I am focusing on travel basketball. I have achieved some individual accomplishments in both sports and have played varsity for both sports since I came to Michigan City High School. My goal is for our team to win sectionals and advance in the State tournament in both sports. I will focus on increasing my stamina and quickening my reaction time, physical strength, and agility. I want to improve myself and also immerse myself in the sports where I can be an asset to my team and my high school.

I believe I am different because I am compassionate and really love people. This characteristic is seen by my teachers and my coaches as I am passionate about my studies in school and my accomplishments with my team. I compete because I love the sport and my coaches and I study hard because I love my school and my teachers.

I want to continue my journey after high school at a university that will help me increase my effectiveness as a health care administrator and be able to use my given talents for the betterment of my community.  I want to accomplish great achievements both individually and as a team. I want to better my skill set, broadened my experiences, increase my capabilities, and diversify my talents. With that spring board of opportunity, I hope to positively contribute to my profession, my community that I will live in, and give back to the schools that have helped support me.
