Kylie FehrmanPersonal Statement
I am a 5’11’ shooting guard and will be a senior at Lake Central High School in St John, Indiana. I played on the varsity basketball team my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. My sophomore and junior season we were 4A Conference champions. My sophomore season we were 4A Sectional champions. I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old, and AAU basketball since 4th grade. I am currently playing travel basketball with the Illinois Defenders.
I am a hard worker and give my team members encouragement and show leadership. I pride myself on being a team player, that can play all positions. A few of my strengths are rebounding, hustle, and strong defense. I always work to get better and give 100% every practice and every game.
I am just as dedicated to academics as I am sports. I am currently enrolled in honor classes with a 4.3 GPA. I plan to major in the medical field, possibly occupational therapy. I would like to attend a school that is relatively close to my hometown, but I am open to other opportunities. My goal is to play at the college level and graduate with high honors.
