I have played basketball since I was young, and I have come to enjoy it and made it a part of my everyday life. I have worked hard on and off the court and spend a lot of time watching game film on finding new ways to improve my game. I have played for many different coaches during my time as an athlete and adjusted well with the different teams. Along with basketball I participate in many extra curricular activities. I am a part of a mission team that goes to Nicaragua once every year to help the community. Currently doing everything I can for my high school team I play all positions on the floor, mainly being the 3 or 4, I will do anything and everything to help my team succeed. For the future I plan to play in college while striving for my goal to become a journalist. I hope I get the opportunity to play for a coach/team that is close knit and values teamwork and togetherness. If it's the right fit for me, the location will come into place. I value winning with many personal achievements such as Indiana Top 100 sophomore and junior year, all-conference, all-state, and my junior year joining the 1,000 point club and team achievements, winning sectionals (2014-2015 season), I know that there are many ways to define success. I hope to have a successful college basketball career along with pursuing a career in journalism. I look forward to further discussion with programs that encourage my goals.
Thank you,
Brittany Welch
