Personal Statement

I am passionate. Basketball is one of my many passions. I've put so much of myself into basketball since I was little, and I never want to stop. The sport has given so much to me, and it has contributed so much to forming the person I am today. Basketball has helped me to be a leader among my teammates as well as my peers, and it has taught me resiliency in facing challenges. One of my favorite lessons from basketball is learning to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations and enjoy the thrill that comes with doing so. Basketball has taught me that pursuing everything I want boldly and fearlessly is always rewarding. I work hard to reach my goals and follow my dreams. I have plenty of dreams, and college basketball is one of them.
