I am a leader on and off the court. I am a Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Award winner and I was chosen by my teachers last year to be on my school's leadership team, which consists of only 8 students schoolwide. I take a lot of pride in my academics and am number 3 out of 317 students in my class.
I have loved the game of basketball since before my legs were long enough to dribble it between them. I have been working on my ball handling in the driveway for so many years that I swear my neighbors know every move. I am excited for the opportunities that lie before me at the high school and collegiate levels. I would bring to any college team my innate leadership qualities, my competitive spirit, my understanding of the game, and my ability to inspire my teammates to work harder each day. I have never been one to shy away from adversity, and I hope to grow as a basketball player and a person wherever I may go.
