Shelby Harmeyer 1...Personal Statement
My dream is to play college basketball and one day play in the WNBA. I was a starter on my middle school's 8th grade team as a 7th grader, played 1/4 of my 8th grade year on the Freshman and JV team, and started Varsity from that point forward. I started my entire freshman year on Varsity, where I lead the team in scoring ( 12.5 ppg), rebounding ( 5.5 ppg), shooting pct. (42.5). I was named to the All District Tournament team and received an Honorable Mention by the Ky. Enquirer's winter sports stars edition. I have aspirations of getting into coaching or helping in the development of young players some day.
