Rayah Haynes '18 Recruiting Profile

My aspirations are to be a point guard at the college level and beyond. I am a good candidate for a college team because I have a high IQ for the game as a freshman. My exposure through AAU, elite ball and high school basketball has allowed me to be an above average basketball player. I am a leader on the court and know how to coach the floor and set the intensity level on defense. I am an aggressive ball handler with above average speed. I commit to denying every pass, while avoiding fouling. I am an above average ball handler and shooter and have control over my dribble with both hands, while maintaining cross-over, pull-back, fake reverse and behind the back dribbles. I am good at reading the floor and consistently break multiple presses. Most of all I am a team player and am unselfish. What makes me different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics is my maturity, intelligence and exposure in basketball fundamentals while being an AB average student. I am a student athlete which makes me the whole package.
