I have been playing basketball since I was six years old. Ever since then, I have been working hard to prefect my game. I believe that practice doesn’t make perfect, but makes you better. From the first time that I stepped on the court, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing at a collegiate level will be a challenge, but a challenge that I am ready and willing to accept.
I have strong ball handling skills, a very accurate mid to three point range jump shot, and a high basketball IQ. I am an aggressive scorer but always look to involve my teammates. I am a team leader and lead by example, both on and off the court. I am very coachable and possess strong work ethics.
I study hard and maintain a high GPA in the classroom. I also volunteer at local youth basketball camps. I wish to attend a college where I can gain the skills that will make me a better basketball player as well as acquire an education that will lead me in being a productive member of society. I am committed to push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I have a network of family and friends that will help me in reaching my goals. I hope to become a great role model to my younger sisters and all of my peers.
