Mackenzie Brooks '19 Recruiting Profile

   Basketball has had the biggest impact on my life! I put all my blood ,sweat, and tears into the game. This sport has shown me so much about myself that I could not have found anywhere else but on the court. Going from getting some varsity playing time as a freshmen to starting my sophomore year has really opened my eyes as to how much I loved the game. Being a young, starting varsity point guard was not the biggest challeng to overcome. However, my height being at only 5'3 ft was  quite  the challenge having to go up against taller players was difficult but not impossible, I just worked 110 times harder than everyone else! As point guard you have to be the leader of the team and I am just that! Leading my team to go 3-0 in one of our biggest tournaments didn't just prove my leadership to myself but to my family ,my teammates and to my coach as well. My work ethic and leadership will always be guaranteed. I live for this game, I put my heart into every second of it, and I can promise to give you my all if I was apart of your team!
