Personal Statement
During the past four seasons with my high school Varsity basketball team, I have developed a quiet, confident, and modest leadership quality that my teammates admire. During that time, I have led my team in both offense and defense. My dedication, speed, and intensity have been mirrored by my teammates as I have developed into the team's model for success. Basketball provides me with structure and goals. I try to be a good self advocate and find success when I motivate myself to get the most from people and places around me. I am academic minded and am interested in a school that would allow me to balance academics and sports successfully. I hope that after college graduation, I will be a desirable candidate for employment or graduate school.
