Personal Statement
I hope to play competitive basketball in college (no matter the division) and let my basketball abilities take me as far as I can go. I like to think of myself as a strong leader on and off the court. I am in the gym day in and day out working on my game. Everyday consists of going to my practice or game and doing Insanity T-25 workouts to improve my overall fitness. Also, each day throughout the 2014 summer and fall I have worked with a skills coach to improve my ball handling. Even if I'm not the most talented player on the team, there is a good chance that I am the most competitive. It could be basketball or arm wrestling, I am not a person who even takes losing as an option and I do as much as I can so that it doesn't. I work hard in the classroom as well. I hold myself to an extremely high standard and sports and in academics. I am never completely complacent on my performance because there is always something that can be worked on. I hope to find the right fit in a college that supports my athletic desires and has a good psychology program. I would like to get a degree in psychology and narrow into the behavior analysis/forensic side of it. I would like to get my masters in psych with a criminal focus and minor in accounting and hope to find a good school in which I can get a good degree.
