Personal Statement
Ultimately, my collegiate goals and aspirations are to be a success in the field of study I choose and to play college basketball for a coach and team that is as dedicated to the game as I feel I am, no matter what the circumstances are. I believe I am a good candidate for any team because I work and push myself as hard as I can and when I think I've done my best, I still know there's room for improvement. I am not your average girly girl that just likes to be on her phone constantly, but a girl that would rather play basketball from morning to night without any interruptions. I've often been told I'm too hard on myself when I make a mistake, whether it be on an exam or in a game, but over time I've come to realize that there will always be another question to answer and another shot to make and I have to take the good with the bad. I think laughter can cure just about anything and when I can make my friends, my teachers and my teammates laugh, I figure I must be doing something right.
