Personal Statement
My name is Chloe Salman, and I am going to be a senior at Paw Paw High School. I have been playing at the varsity level since freshman year for both basketball and soccer. I also played varsity volleyball up until sophomore year as well. My Freshman year I earned 2nd Team All Conference for soccer. My sophomore year I earned MVP and 1st team All Conference for basketball, 1st Team All Conference for volleyball, and all District for soccer. Junior year I received First team All-Conference and All-State Honorable mention and MVP awards in basketball, and All District, All-conference honorable mention, All-Region, and 2nd team All State awards in soccer. I got the chance to participate in the BCAM''s 2014 Girls Top Shooters Challenge for both Free throws and Three Pointers and placed with in the top 5 out of 20 for both. I was also invited to BCAM's Reaching Higher Showcase and participated in that as well.
I have been playing basketball since the second grade and have always wanted to play at the college level. Some of my strengths would be driving the ball to the basket, and drawing fouls. My free throw shooting is very good as well, along with three pointers and two point shots around, or inside the paint. Over all the sports I have played, basketball is not only my favorite sport, it has become a part of me, it is who I am.
