Personal Statement
What makes me a good candidate? I work hard at my game and feel my strongest asset is outside shooting, if you need a shooter, I'm your player. With that being said, I'm not a selfish player and have great court vision and realize that you can't just be an offensive player - great defense leads to great offense! Also, being coachable is important and necessary to the entire team environment and I believe it is one of my best qualities.
As a three sport Varsity athlete (Basketball, Golf, Cross Country) I enjoy the support and encouragement of being on a team. Athletics, as well as other extracurricular activities have provided opportunities for me to learn and grow as a person. Furthermore, education is a central focus and I take pride in excelling in rigorous courses such as AP and Honors classes. These experiences have reinforced my desire to go to a college that will allow me to continue playing the sport I love and have played since I was 5 years old while also being challenged in the classroom.
