My name is Christina Walker, I am starting my senior year at Father Tolton Catholic High School in Columbia, MO and will be a 2018 graduate.
I believe strongly that my grades always come 1st, which is why I have managed to keep a 3.9 GPA or above for my high school career. I am also very proud that I have done this at a Catholic High School that has a challenging curriculum. As an athlete I have learned how to be versatile. While playing several years for traveling basketball clubs, I have learned to adapt to many different coaching styles and have learned all positions. My other strong suits are my leadership abilities, basketball IQ, and my overall basketball skill set. I am 5'10" and typically play a guard position, but have the ability to play all positions.
I am confident that I will become a leader at the college level. I have been able to be known as a leader for my high school as a school ambassador, as well as for my high school and club basketball teams. I am now excited for the chance to excel at the college level. I believe that being a leader in a sport is helpful with your educational plans, work career, and overall future.
